1. Provide cover or guards to opening or hole in surfaces
where there is a risk of falls.
2. Provide edge fall protection such as guardrails and toe
boards around elevated platforms, roofs, crossovers, floors, excavated areas,
etc. to avoid falls.
3. If there is a risk of falling into dangerous machinery such
as conveyor belt, crusher, acid tank, etc., provide guardrails regardless of
the fall distance.
4. Personal fall protection aids such as full body harnesses,
connectors, lifelines, safety nets, etc. must be provided in accordance with
the Fall Protection Plan.
